It certainly appears that the global downturn is slowly beginning to fade away from people's minds. This can be evidenced in the fact that Hua Hin Property have already sold 9 pool villas, 3 condominiums and a large plot of land from December 2009 to February 2010. Furthermore, our rental division have rented out over 30 rental properties during the same period. Of course, many of those clients who decide to rent from us, will come back to us to buy the following year, which has been a regular pattern for many years, as clients simply fall in love with Hua Hin. It certainly looks like there is more than a little light on the horizon here in one of Thailand's friendliest, safest, and most popular seaside resorts.
Property demand is still vigorous in Hua Hin. It is now certainly a buyers' market. Although condominium prices remain unaffected and are still increasing in price each and every year, there are excellent bargains still to be had. Re-sale properties, where the Sellers have needed to sell on quickly, have seen prices reduced dramatically. There are still a few reduced properties remaining on Hua Hin Property's books that are going to make excellent opportunities for capital appreciation over the next 1 to 2 years.
